Pink and Pouty Medical Wigs has a strict terms of use policy. Please review this policy before booking or purchasing from us. See the policy here

Overview

At Pink & Pouty, we specialize in custom-made medical and cosmetic wigs designed for individuals who are bald or balding. Our units are crafted to replicate a natural hairline and scalp for a seamless, undetectable finish. To ensure a perfect fit, it is essential to begin with a clean scalp—free of oils, products, or buildup—and follow proper hair prep. For those with fuller hair, small braids no larger than ½ inch per section are required to reduce bulk. We only accept a flat beehive braid pattern, as it allows the wig to lay flush against the scalp, ensuring a snug, secure, and natural-looking install.

 

Consultations

The first step to ordering your custom unit is providing accurate head measurements. That’s why scheduling a virtual or in-person consultation is so important. During this session, we examine your hair condition and walk you through each step of the measurement process. With over a decade of experience in custom wig making, we’ve seen the most common mistakes clients make when measuring on their own—and we know exactly how to avoid them. No Refund Policy

Due to the highly customized nature of our units, all wig purchases are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and final sale. Each unit is tailored specifically to your measurements, preferences, and styling needs, making it unique to you. Because of this level of personalization, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds under any circumstances. We ask that all customers carefully review their selections and follow preparation guidelines to ensure the best possible fit and satisfaction.

 

Indemnification 

Additionally, our wigs are made using 100% human hair and delicate lace materials that mimic the natural scalp. While this creates an incredibly realistic and high-quality appearance, it also means the lace is fragile and must be handled with care. The more natural-looking the material, the more valuable—and the more delicate—it becomes. We are not responsible for damaged or impaired wigs and will not issue refunds or repairs without additional charges. ORDER PROCESSING POLICY

Due to production processes, all orders go through the following process:​​

#0 Ordering Process - consultation or custom order

#1 Payment Processing - payments received

#2 Sourcing Process - where materials to produce the unit are secured

#3 Customizations Process - sizing, hairline, chemical processing etc.

#4 Finishing Touches Process - creative tweaks by stylist

#5 Shipping Process - shipping label created, Item shipped

 

How Orders are Handled:

  1. Placing an order: A request for a customized wig is received 1 of two ways: either post-consultation or as a returning customer

  2. Estimate Sent: An estimate for services is sent to the customer that requires approval

  3. Invoice Sent: If estimate is accepted an Invoice is then sent to the customer 

  4. Partial Payment Received: If the customer pays a deposit only, and not the full balance, the order will fall into the sourcing process and will remain in this queue until balance is paid in full.

  5. Full Payment Received: If a customer pays in-full, satisfying the entire invoice balance, the order is placed into the sourcing process (does not include shipping delays from our vendors).

  6. Sourcing: Raw materials and/or chemicals are ordered or removed from inventory and set aside for a particular order number. Sourcing can take up to 16 days.

  7. Customizations: include the processes like cutting, curling, details of the hairline and fitting alterations are completed. Customizations can take up to 16 days.

  8. Finishing Touches: include any creative touches your stylist may deem necessary to complete the look

  9. Shipping: once a wig is complete a shipping label will be generated, and it can take up to 8 days for the wig to leave Pink and Pouty's facility.

  10. Delays: Always expect delays during high volume ordering (expected but not limited to October - December). Please note that certain Political activity often affect our production timeframes

  11. EXPEDITED ORDERS: are only eligible for fully paid invoices and follow the same process. Meaning the invoice has to be paid in full upon receiving the invoice. Partial payments are not accepted for expedited orders.

 

Installation Policy

Our custom-made medical and cosmetic wigs are specifically designed for individuals who are bald or balding. Each unit is crafted to replicate a natural hairline and realistic scalp appearance for the most seamless and authentic look.

To ensure the best results, it is essential that you arrive with:

  • A clean scalp, free of oils, product buildup, or residue

  • A proper beehive braid pattern, which ensures the unit lays flat for a flawless and natural-looking install

Failure to meet these requirements will result in rescheduling and additional fees.

Please note: Braiding services are not included. Below is the only acceptable braiding style, neatness, pattern and overall condition that we accept for installation services.

 

PAYMENT POLICY

Accepted Payment Method:

We accept Zelle payments only to Shannon Taylor at 504-342-7603. No other payment methods are accepted unless otherwise stated in your consultation.

 

Important Instructions:

  • After sending your payment, you must take a screenshot of the confirmation.

  • Immediately send the screenshot to Shannon Taylor at 504-342-7603 via text message.

  • This step is required to ensure you are properly placed in the queue.

 

Important Notes:

We cannot search for payments manually.

Some clients use Zelle accounts with names different from their own or their client file name, making it difficult to identify payments without confirmation.

If you do not send a screenshot, we cannot guarantee your placement in the queue.

 

Refund Policy:

All sales are nonrefundable.
